Royal Oak

There are many local attractions to keep you busy when you are not studying.

Cornwall Park / One Tree Hill

Cornwall Park / One Tree Hill is a fantastic city park that offers a beautiful rural feel that makes it difficult to believe that you are in central Auckland. As one of Auckland's numerous volcanic cones, you can choose to climb (or drive) to the top, or go for a leisurely walk, picnic or study.  From time to time our classroom activities extend to the Park.  Be ready for fun, fresh air and take learning outdoors.

A restaurant and kiosk are located in Cornwall Park / One Tree Hill Domain for all of your food and drink needs. The Cornwall Park Restaurant offers unique choices for breakfast, lunch, functions or a tea/coffee break. Sport and recreation activities are also found in the park, see the sport and recreation section on this page for more detail.

Pah Homestead - TSB Bank Wallace Arts Centre

Located in the beautiful Pah Homestead, the TSB Bank Wallace Arts Centre is Auckland’s hidden gem.  The Art Centre hosts a changing program of exhibitions from the James Wallace Arts Trust and offers education programmes for Auckland Schools and the wider public.   After viewing the collections on display you can enjoy a bite to eat or a tea/coffee in the beautiful Pah Café.
