Course Fees and Costs

Course Costs Include:

Tuition, workbooks, specific resources
GST (Government Goods and Service Tax)
Registration and credit fees as applicable
Internet access while at Cornwall Institute

Course Costs do not include:

Re-sit fees for any part of courses
Lost, damaged workbooks or course specific resources
Meals or accommodation
Personal stationery items.
Printing of Qualification Certificates

NZIM Diploma in Management

All fees are subject to final confirmation by Cornwall Institute and may be subject to variations.

Diploma of Management: NZ$ 14,500.00     per school year
Material Fee:                     NZ$ 1250.00        per enrollment

English Language Tour Group Programme

Specialist English Language lessons blended with great Kiwi activities.  A combination of exciting activity based experiences around Auckland and Waikato regions.

Price Guide

NZ$ 5000.00      For a four week programme (Minimum numbers apply)


Homestay accommodation
Airport transport transfers
Tuition and stationery requirements
Activity and transport costs (dependent on a minimum of 10 students)

Variations to price guides will be subject to final confirmation and based on tour group size.

Cornwall Institute of Learning Certificate in Nutrition and Excercise Management

Fees are subject to final confirmation by Cornwall Institute and may be subject to variation.

CIL Certificate in Nutrition and Excercise Management:  NZ$ 2400.00
Material Fee:                                                                       NZ$   200.00 per enrollment

Material Fees will not be refunded once your course has commenced.

Field Trips

Field trips are charged in addition to course fees.  These are a necessary component of your course.  You will be advised of the cost during your course. 
Charges will always be based on actual cost.

Student Services

All students are entitled to access free individual support sessions of 1 hour each week.

This is in addition to our normal class/session support services.  This may be used for:

Any welfare/care issues
Academic assistance
Mentoring issues

Sessions/appointments must be made within normal operating hours: 9am- 9pm.


Cornwall Institute takes no responsibility for Homestay costs.  We use a professional Homestay agency. 
They accept a one off payment fee of $250.00
Regular Homestay fees are from $230.00 per week dependent on your requirements.

Students under 18 years old must stay in a Homestay situation approved by our agency.

Airport Pick-up Service

We recommend Airport Shuttle Buses (cost $40 one-way) or Taxis (approximately $90 one-way).

Medical and Travel Insurance

We recommend you use a recognised insurance company.  For example, Orbit Protect or Vero.

It is compulsory to have this type of insurance while studying with us.  A copy of your insurance policy will be held with student records at Cornwall Institute.

STudent Fee Protection Insurance

Under New Zealand law your fees must be protected independently from your course provider.  We use a New Zealand Government owned "Public Trust" Trustee Company approved by the New Zealand Qualification Authority.

To protect all student fees, money must be payable to Cornwall Institute, Public Trust account, Bank of New Zealand (more details to come)

Fees are held in Trust and released to the Cornwall Institute in instalments throughout the course programme.

Any material and administration fees paid will not be refunded once the course has commenced.
